Pamela Szabó
Executive Vice President & CTO
Ms. Szabó, founder and former President of Migration Technologies Corporation, is the primary designer of Enterprise Enabler. She has spent the majority of her career working with information technology in the energy industry, with experience ranging from technical programming, computer graphics, robotics, analysis, and design, through project management as well as the "softer" aspects of implementation work, including business process reengineering and change management. In recent years she has focused on high-level analysis of information systems for the energy industry, assisting companies in establishing and carrying out migration plans to better serve the complex and rapidly changing business needs of the industry.
As an internal graphics specialist she served as a consultant in computer graphics to Shell's Houston-based research centers using the technologies in a wide variety of applications, from 3D reservoir engineering applications to drilling platform design and analysis. After spending some time designing and writing graphical petrochemical and other plant simulation programs, she formed an independent company under which she did projects in graphics and robotics, designing and automating a section of a drilling parts manufacturing plant for FMC, automating a segment of the general Dynamics' F-16 plant, and writing specialized intelligent graphics for Seiko Instruments, U.S.A.
As Vice President of Bonner and Moore Management Science during their growth period in the early nineties, Ms. Szabó became familiar with specialized decision support software such as linear programming for operations planning modeling, blending optimization, and yield accounting. During that time she developed a keen interest in the issues regarding interfacing the many necessary "niche" software components of a full suite of decision support software, particularly for the refining and marketing arena. Ms. Szabó developed approaches and solutions for integrating these disparate systems, with a view to generically solving the complex data mapping issues unique and inherent to this industry. In the role of Vice President, while managing the overall programming, customer implementation projects, and customer services areas, she established the strategic directions for the products and technologies.
From 1994, Ms. Szabó has worked as an information systems consultant with BSG and Migration Technologies (a predecessor to Stone Bond), developing approaches and solutions, primarily for the energy industry, with a focus on business requirements and analysis of the appropriateness of the in-place technologies and systems. Since late 1998, Ms. Szabó has worked on the design of Enterprise Enabler and guided the development of early prototypes and the current Enterprise Enabler release software.
Ms. Szabó holds a BS, summa cum laude, in Computer Science from the University of Houston.
